Souvenir Factory Shop

Souvenir Factory Shop is a family-owned New Zealand souvenir shop in Miramar, Wellington, with a dedicated range of genuine pounamu jewellery and carvings. It is a short drive from Wellington Airport and Weta Studios, which makes it a popular stop for visitors exploring the city or heading home.

The pounamu collection includes pendants, earrings, bracelets and carvings in both traditional and contemporary styles, from classic forms such as the hei tiki through to modern designs. Staff are happy to explain the meaning behind each design and help customers choose the right piece, whether as a gift or a keepsake.

The shop began in 1994 as an outlet for discontinued souvenir t-shirts from the family’s screen printing and graphic art business, and its range has grown steadily since in response to customer demand. Alongside pounamu, it stocks paua shell jewellery, sheepskin products, clothing and a wide selection of New Zealand designed and made gifts.
