Koru NZ Art in central Dunedin shows pounamu and art by around 80 New Zealand makers, with a focus on Māori and local Ngāi Tahu artists.

About
Koru NZ Art is an owner-operated gallery and gift shop on the corner of Castle and Lower Stuart Streets in central Dunedin, opened in 2002 by Sandie den Dulk. It shows the work of around 80 New Zealand artists and makers, most of them based in Dunedin, with a strong focus on Māori artists including local Ngāi Tahu artists, and everything it sells is made in New Zealand.
Pounamu carving is a major part of the range, alongside local hard stone, bone, shell, ceramics, glass, weaving and silver jewellery. The adjoining Koru Gallery, opened in 2011, hosts exhibitions by local artists.
