Waka Jewellers

Waka Jewellers, which trades online as Waka Gallery Queenstown, is a jewellery store and gallery on the corner of Beach and Rees Streets in central Queenstown. Owner Rob Lynes is a gem cutter and pounamu carver who works with a team of jewellers and carvers to make New Zealand pounamu, opal and pearl pieces on site, from rings and pendants to larger stone sculpture. The gallery opened in 2011 and also stocks Tahitian and New Zealand blue pearls.
