Goldfields Jewellers

Goldfields Jewellers is a family-owned jewellery store on the Queenstown Mall, with a handcrafted pounamu collection alongside its fine jewellery. The store is run by Trond and Anna Johansson, with Trond making pieces at the in-store workbench, supported by Anna and their team.

The pounamu range includes hand-carved pendants and jewellery, and the team also works pounamu into custom pieces set in precious metals. Staff are happy to explain the meaning of different designs and help customers choose a piece, whether it is a gift, a keepsake from a visit to Queenstown, or something to mark a special occasion.

Beyond pounamu, Goldfields specialises in engagement and wedding rings, one-off pieces, and the remaking of inherited or sentimental jewellery. Its range also includes opal, pearls and New Zealand designer jewellery, and the workshop offers repairs and custom design, drawing on decades of jewellery making in Queenstown.
