Jens Hansen – The Ringmaker is a Nelson gold and silversmith workshop established in 1960 by Danish-born jeweller Jens Hansen, internationally known for hand-forging the Movie Ring worn in Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit films. The in-house team continues to hand-forge jewellery on-site, including pieces set with local pounamu alongside precious metals and gemstones.
